Diaz-Balart Introduces Bipartisan Resolution to Honor Brigade 2506 Heroes

WASHINGTON, D.C.– Today, Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart (FL-25) introduced a bipartisan resolution marking sixty years since the brave members of Brigade 2506 fought to free the Cuban people from the brutality and oppression of the Castro regime.
“The courageous Brigade 2506 veterans fought for freedom for the Cuban people, and many suffered torture or even perished in the struggle. We are indebted to them, and this resolution honors their determination to bring freedom, justice, and human rights to Cuba. We honor these veterans’ remarkable legacy and valor by continuing to work toward a free and democratic Cuba.”
