Congressman Mario Díaz-Balart Congratulates Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa Azin on Receiving the CHLI Founders International Award

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Mario Díaz- Balart (FL-26), Vice Chairman and co-founder of the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute (CHLI), issued the following statement ahead of CHLI’s 22^nd Annual Gala and Leadership Awards, where Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa Azin will receive the CHLI Founders International Leadership Award:

“I am proud to congratulate President Daniel Noboa Azin on receiving the CHLI Founders International Leadership Award.

Under his leadership, the Republic of Ecuador has proven to be a strong U.S. ally and partner. From designating narcoterrorist cartels such as the Cartel de los Soles as terrorist organizations to countering Communist China’s malign influence in our hemisphere, President Noboa has been resolute in advancing shared security interests through invaluable cooperation while promoting our shared democratic values and expanding anti-corruption efforts.

The Western Hemisphere is safer because of his leadership.

Congratulations again receiving on this merited award, and I look forward to continuing to strengthen the bonds of friendship and partnership between the United States and Ecuador.”

El legislador Mario Díaz-Balart felicita al presidente de Ecuador, Daniel Noboa Azin, por recibir el Premio CHLI al Liderazgo Internacional de los Fundadores 

WASHINGTON, D.C. – El legislador Mario Díaz-Balart (FL-26), vicepresidente y cofundador del Instituto de Liderazgo Hispano del Congreso (CHLI, por sus siglas en inglés), emitió la siguiente declaración tras la 22ª Gala Anual y Ceremonia de Premios de Liderazgo de CHLI, donde el presidente del Ecuador, Daniel Noboa Azin, recibirá el Premio CHLI al Liderazgo Internacional de los Fundadores: 

“Me enorgullece felicitar al presidente Daniel Noboa Azin por recibir el Premio CHLI al Liderazgo Internacional de los Fundadores. 

Bajo su liderazgo, la República del Ecuador ha demostrado ser un sólido aliado y socio estratégico de Estados Unidos. Desde designar a narcocárteles terroristas como el Cartel de los Soles como organizaciones terroristas y enfrentar la creciente y maligna influencia de la China comunista en nuestro Hemisferio, el presidente Noboa ha actuado con firmeza para avanzar en los intereses compartidos de seguridad mediante una cooperación invaluable mientras promueve nuestros valores democráticos y fortalece los esfuerzos anticorrupción. 

El Hemisferio Occidental es hoy más seguro gracias al liderazgo del presidente Noboa Azin.
