Diaz-Balart Applauds Pfizer Vaccine Approval

WASHINGTON, D.C. ­­–– Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart (FL-25) issued the following statement following the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) announcement approving the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.

"This year, we have witnessed the largest scientific, government, and private sector mobilization in recent history. In just a few months, we have made historic progress with the development of COVID-19 treatments and even developed multiple vaccines with proven effectiveness. The Trump Administration has worked hand in hand with our military,medical experts, and the private sector to develop and manufacture a safe and effectivevaccinein record time, and now, thanks to Operation Warp Speed, we can begin distributing this vaccine as quickly and reliably as possible. I am proud of our nation's unprecedented efforts to treat this virus, and I commend this Administration's diligent work in prioritizing the health and safety of the American people."
