Díaz-Balart Condemns the Biden Admin's Treacherous Multibillion Dollar Sanctions Relief to Iran

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Mario Díaz-Balart (FL-26) issued the following statement condemning the Biden Admin's treacherous multibillion-dollar sanctions relief to Iran:

"I am appalled that, on the anniversary of the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil, the Biden Admin has announced its decision to provide billions in sanctions relief to the terrorist state of Iran. My State and Foreign Operations Appropriations (SFOPS) bill strictly prohibits assistance to Iran, its proxies, or those who help Iran evade sanctions precisely due to this admin’s irresponsible predilection to appease the world’s most dangerous, anti-American dictatorships. The Biden Admin just created a multibillion-dollar incentive to arrest and imprison more Americans. We must pass my SFOPS bill immediately and end this madness."
