Diaz-Balart: Congress Will Not Tolerate Violence and Aggression Against Israeli and U.S. Citizens

WASHINGTON – Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart (FL-25) issued the following statement after the passage of H.R. 1164, the Taylor Force Act. Diaz-Balart is a co-sponsor of the legislation.

"While the Palestinian Authority continues to incentivize violence and aggression against Israeli and U.S. citizens, the House of Representatives has made it clear it will not tolerate these activities. Israel continues to be the best partner for peace, freedom, and democracy in the Middle East, and I am a proud ally of Israel. I am committed to ensuring peace in the region, and I believe this bill will help us achieve that goal by requiring the Palestinian Authority to commit to ending this violence."
