Diaz-Balart Honored by Mothers Against Prescription Drug Abuse (MAPDA)

WASHINGTON, D.C.– Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart (FL-26) was recognized by Mothers Against Prescription Drug Abuse (MAPDA) with the 2023 Humanitarian Award for his dedication and leadership in the fight against the misuse of opioids and the fentanyl crisis.

"The threat of prescribed and illicit opioid overdose among Americans is more prevalent than ever before," said Rep. Diaz-Balart.
