Diaz-Balart receives the National Association of Manufacturers Award

February 22, 2011

Washington, D.C. – Today Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL) received the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) Award for Manufacturing Legislative Excellence. The Award was presented at an event sponsored by NAM member Ryder System, Inc. in Miami, Florida. Diaz-Balart comments:

“I am honored to receive an award that symbolizes a pro-manufacturing agenda for economic growth and job creation. During a time of unprecedented debt and record high unemployment, it is important that we adopt common-sense policies that allow the private sector to create jobs and get our economy back on track. I am committed to continue working in Washington towards policies that will create and maintain jobs in Florida and throughout our country to ensure we stay ahead of our global competition.”
