Diaz-Balart to Fly Over Everglades Mustang Corner Fire, Assess Damage

MIAMI—Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL) will participate in a fly-over of the Mustang Corner Fire in the Florida Everglades with Superintendent Dan Kimball of Everglades National Park tomorrow, Saturday, May 17th at 4:00 p.m. *Media availability immediately before takeoff at airport entrance.

Diaz-Balart is the sole Member of Congress representing Everglades National Park and the Co-Chair of the Everglades Caucus. He is the lead Congressman advocating for Everglades restoration and conservation funding and has successfully secured more than $300 million in funding for the Everglades to date.
