MEDIA ADVISORY: Rep. Díaz-Balart to Host Check Presentation for the $3 Million in Federal Funding Secured for Miami-Dade County Safety Improvements in the City of Hialeah

MIAMI, FL – Representative Mario Díaz-Balart (FL-26) is pleased to invite members of the media to attend a check presentation ceremony taking place on Monday, June 17, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. This event celebrates the $3 million in funding secured by Congressman Díaz-Balart which will go toward improving roadway safety to address the number of fatalities and serious injuries that occur on roadways. These funds will be used for construction to improve visibility for all modes of transportation, vehicles, pedestrians, bicyclists, and transit. This project received funding through the Consolidated Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 2024, which was approved by Congress and signed by the President on March 9th, 2024.
