HIALEAH, FL – Representative Mario Díaz-Balart (FL-26) is pleased to invite members of the media to attend a special check presentation ceremony tomorrow, Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. The event celebrates the $2.59 million in funding secured for the City of Hialeah to revitalize its police vehicles. These funds will go to replacing 50 marked vehicles in the aging police fleet and upgrading technology inside. This project received funding through the Consolidated Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 2024, which was approved by Congress and signed by the President on March 9th, 2024.
