MEDIA ADVISORY: Rep. Díaz-Balart Joins Ribbon-Cutting for the City of Hialeah Roadway Revitalization Community Project, Presents Hialeah's 100th Anniversary Resolution

MIAMI, FL – Congressman Mario Díaz-Balart (FL-26) is pleased to invite members of the media to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony taking place on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 10:30 a.m.

This event celebrates the completion of the City of Hialeah’s infrastructure project made possible by the $3 million in funding secured by Congressman Díaz-Balart. These critical investments aim to enhance safety, improve the quality of life, and strengthen neighborhood resilience of Hialeah residents by including new curbs and gutters for stormwater mitigation, full roadway reconstruction, sidewalks, and energy-efficient LED street lighting.

This project received funding through the Consolidated Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 2023, which was approved by Congress and signed by the President on December 29, 2022.

In addition to celebrating these critical community upgrades, Congressman Díaz-Balart will present a Congressional Resolution recognizing the City of Hialeah's 100th Anniversary.
