Miami, FL – On Monday, July 10, 2023, at 10:30 a.m, Congressman Mario Díaz-Balart, Chairman of the State, Foreign Operations and Related Programs Subcommittee, will join Congressman Michael McCaul (R-TX), Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee in a bipartisan roundtable discussion with Cuban pro-democracy activists regarding the ongoing acts of repression being perpetrated by the brutal regime on the island. The discussion will be followed by a press conference where the representatives will be joined by Cuban activists and members of the Cuban-American exile community.

The panelists will highlight the dire situation of political prisoners in Cuba.
