NAPLES, FL - Congressman Mario Díaz-Balart (FL-26), Vice Chair of the House Appropriations Committee and Dean of the Florida Congressional Delegation, presented $2,000,000 in federal funding to Collier County for a feasibility analysis to open the Everglades Boulevard interchange location on a portion of I-75.
Residents of eastern Collier County lack a southern interchange that provides direct access to the interstate.

The event celebrates the $2 million in funding secured for the feasibility analysis for the proposed interchange at I-75 and the Everglades Boulevard Project. This project would be used to assess the possibility of opening the existing Everglades Boulevard interchange located on a portion of I-75.
MIAMI, FL – Congressman Mario Díaz-Balart (FL-26) has announced Bryan Santizo, a sophomore from Hialeah, Florida's iMater Charter Middle and High School, as the winner of this year's 2026 Congressional Art Competition for Florida's 26th Congressional District.
Bryan's artwork, titled “Horse,” was selected from among 139 entries submitted by students from 21 participating schools. His piece will be displayed for one year at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C.
