WASHINGTON, D.C. – This morning, House Appropriations Committee Vice Chair and Chairman of the Subcommittee on National Security, the Department of State, and Related Programs (NSRP), Mario Díaz-Balart (FL-26), joined Cheryl Casone on Mornings with Maria on Fox Business to discuss the NSRP Fiscal Year 2026 funding bill, concerns over a potential Democrat-led government shutdown, and allegations surrounding former President Obama’s role in the Russia collusion hoax against President Trump.

This media availability will be held on Monday, July 21st, at 9:30 AM ET at 7449 NW 12th Street, Miami, FL 33144 (vacant land, southwest of Miami International Airport).
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representatives Mario Díaz-Balart (R-FL-26) and Congressman Jared Moskowitz (D-FL-23), Co-Chairs of the Friends of Egypt Caucus, reintroduced the Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designation Act of 2025, a bipartisan bill that implements a new modernized strategy for designating the global Muslim Brotherhood (MB) as a terrorist group.
This bill directs the President and Secretary of State to use their statutory authority to sanction the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization.
