Diaz-Balart hosts TownHall Meeting with Broward Residents

Washington, DC– Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL) issued the following statement after hosting a local Town Hall meeting with Broward residents in the City of Miramar. The Town Hall focused specifically on the budget and touched on an array of other federal issues. Guests were encouraged to participate and ask questions. Diaz-Balart comments:

"It is great to come home and have a casual, fact-based conversation with residents about the challenges and opportunities facing our country. These meetings provide me with the opportunity to hear directly from residents and answer any questions they may have pertaining to federal issues. I appreciate those who took the time to attend and participate, for I know the best answers come from home not Washington.”

Diaz-Balart fielded questions from residents and continued an ongoing dialogue for two hours about current issues surrounding our fiscal situation.Members from Congressman Diaz-Balart's staff were in attendance to answer questions and deliver information to residents on the services their Congressional Office offers.
