Diaz-Balart: Only thing shovel ready are the jobs the Administration is shoveling away

Washington, DC– Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL) issued the following statement on the one-year anniversary of President Obama's "Summer of Economic Recovery." Diaz-Balart comments:

"A year after the administration claimed a 'summer of economic recovery' millions of Americans continue to wait for the millions of promised jobs. The soaring gas and food prices, high levels of unemployment, and anemic rate of economic growth demonstrate the policies enacted by President Obama have been catastrophic.

"It is time for the President to realize that the only thing shovel ready are the jobs the administration is shoveling away."
