Diaz-Balart Reappointed as Vice Chair of Financial Services Subcommittee

January 31, 2013

Washington, D.C.– Today, Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL) was reappointed by Chairman Hal Rogers (R-KY) to serve as the Vice Chair of the Appropriations Subcommittee on Financial Services and General Government, alongside Subcommittee Chairman Ander Crenshaw (R-FL).

“With the national debt over $16 trillion, we must continue to look for ways to cut unnecessary and wasteful government spending. I am honored that Chairman Rogers has asked me to serve as the Vice Chair of the Financial Services Subcommittee for a second term so that I may continue my work on the subcommittee. I also look forward to serving with Chairman Crenshaw so that the Subcommittee can provide the necessary and thorough oversight of the spending priorities of the departments and agencies in its jurisdiction.”
