MEDIA ADVISORY: Rep. Díaz-Balart to Deliver $2M for the Feasibility Analysis for Proposed Interchange at I-75 and Everglades Boulevard Project

NAPLES, FL – Representative Mario Díaz-Balart (FL-26) is pleased to invite members of the media to attend a special check presentation ceremony on Monday, May 11th, at 11 a.m.  

The event celebrates the $2 million in funding secured for the feasibility analysis for the proposed interchange at I-75 and the Everglades Boulevard Project. This project would be used to assess the possibility of opening the existing Everglades Boulevard interchange located on a portion of I-75.

Background: This project received funding through the Senate Amendment to H.R. 7148, the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2026, which was approved by Congress and signed into law by the President on February 3rd, 2026.
