MIAMI, FL – Congressman Mario Díaz-Balart (FL-26) has announced Natalie Castro, a junior at Youth Co-Op Preparatory High School and a resident of Hialeah, Florida, as the winner of this year's 26th Congressional District's 2024 Congressional Art Competition, titled "An Artistic Discovery." Natalie's artwork, titled “Great Blue Heron,” was selected from among 100 entries submitted by students from seven participating schools

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Representatives Mario Díaz-Balart (FL-26), Carlos Giménez (FL-28), and María Elvira Salazar (FL-27) sent a letter to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas requesting information on preparations underway at the DHS in advance of the FIFA World Cup 2026, which the United States is hosting in eleven different sites, including the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
